An ARM-based processor that performs GPU functions. Custom designed by the Chinese for the LineShine supercomputer, the LX2 has 304 Armv9 CPU cores, each containing registers that accelerate the matrix math used in AI. The LX2 chip resides on the same package as 32GB of HBM memory. See LineShine and ARM.
